Eight Days a Week (1997)

Peter, a love-struck teenager, decides to win the heart of his beautiful neighbour, Erica, who has placed him in the friend-zone. He believes that the only way to do this is through a grand romantic gesture, so he resolves to camp out on her front lawn every day for the entire summer until she falls for him.
